You'll work in a horticultural setting a short drive out of Ashburton. Our client's farm, equipment, and yards are exceptionally well-maintained and there is a real importance in the Health and Safety of their workers. 

Your primary responsibility is to operate a forklift, loading and unloading bins of crops to and from the grading and packing areas. You may also be required to load and unload trucks with stock. This is a very busy yard so experience in a fast-paced environment is essential. 

This is the perfect temporary to permanent opportunity for a local, as this is a long-term role.

• Operate a forklift
• Load, unload and stack bins of crops
• Be extremely Health & Safety conscious 

You are an experienced, OSH-certified forklift operator with a can-do attitude and a strong adherence to Health & Safety procedures. If you have experience working in a packhouse environment, this will be highly beneficial.

• OSH-certified
• 2+ years of forklift experience

• Temp to perm opportunity for a local
• Earn $25 - $28 per hour
• 8% holiday pay accrued on top of hourly wage
