Account Manager

About the Role

We are looking for experienced Account Managers who are looking to work in a creative, dynamic, fast paced environment! You will manage and work with blue-chip corporate clients across the manufacturing sector who are some of the largest brands in New Zealand. In this role you will be responsible for the successful delivery of your clients’ custom projects. You will work closely with key internal staff across, recruitment, induction and project management. 

Maintaining and enhancing positive working relationships with assigned customers to build customer loyalty and maximise the likelihood of winning future business.

Identifying and thoroughly following up all new business opportunities within the existing customer base.

Your new role

  • Responsible for identifying and developing existing & new business accounts.

  • Provide leadership and support to the team

  • Ensure long term growth and profitability of our business by identifying and developing relationships with clients and generating new business

  • Submit quotes and follow up on leads to close sales.

  • Provide excellent customer service, build and maintain strong customer relationships.

  • Meet sales targets in accordance to business metrics.

  • Willing to travel across the country and maybe even abroad.

About you

  • Ability to manage and retain business

  • Proven experience as an Account Manager or similar

  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral.

  • A passion for sales and experience generating new business

  • Tenacious, resilient attitude and Results focused

  • Work well under pressure, find opportunity and drive business.

  • Showcase your entrepreneurship skills to open new supply avenues.

  • Ability to work with your factory team to deliver on time, every time.

  • Willing to learn about how to build a sustainable journey for our customers.
